Audition Information | 2023/2024 Season

West Coast Classical is very excited for another fantastic year of music making.  We are doing the audition process the same as last time. Instead of a live audition, we are requiring everyone to submit a recorded video audition. The easiest way to achieve this is by using a Smartphone. Below you will find the audition information for each of the West Coast Classical groups. Find a group you wish to audition for and please follow the criteria.
Auditions are mandatory for all new and returning members unless otherwise stated.

1. Record yourself without any edits

2. Record yourself using separate videos for each of the required criteria. (Ex. Concert Orchestra Strings….1. One Scale video 2. One Solo video)

3. Send all required videos in one email.

4. Your videos may be too large to send in a regular email. Upload your video to One Drive or Google Drive if that is the case and then send.

5. Email your audition video to westcoastclassicalauditions@gmail.com

6. In the "Subject" line of the email, please write your name and what group or groups you are auditioning for. (Ex. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart....Symphonic Orchestra)

Happy practicing! We are looking forward to hearing everyone and cannot wait for another great year of West Coast Classical!
If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Kaser at jeff.kaser@westcoastclassical.org
